Polypac I-294 is a liquid coagulant widely used in the following areas:
- colour removal
- vegetable oil waste water treatment
- inlet water clarification
Polypac I-294 is designed to improve the perform-ance of clarifiers, tertiary sand filters and vacuum fil-ters. It performs well in chlorinated water and it can replace inorganic coagulants, such as alum or ferric chloride, with the following advantages:
- It does not consume alkalinity, thus it will not reduce the pH of the treated water
- It is an organic polyelectrolyte and it does not add sulphates or chlorides to the treated water
- Polypac I-294 is a medium molecular weight, liquid organic coagulant. The medium molecular weight allows rapid filtration without filter blocking.
