Polypac I-444 is a highly effective organic coagulant for water and waste water clarification. It can be used in place of conventional inorganic coagulants to produce low turbidity waters in influent water and effluent wastewater clarifications.
Polypac I-444 is also effective in oily wastewater and suitable for potable water treatment.
The product can be used to produce low turbidity waters in influent and effluent water clarification. The product can also be used for emulsion breaking applications or phosphate removal.
Polypac I-444 coagulant is a medium molecular weight, highly charged cationic liquid polymer.

Application
This application should be continuously metered as a solution, (10%) through a mixer or other device to enable effective coagulation prior to addition of flocculant.
Dosage
Typical addition levels for raw water industrial waste-water treatment range from 5-100 ppm. The dilution should be used within three (3) days.
Polypac I-444 is accepted by the U.S. Environ¬mental Protection Agency as coagulant in potable water treatment at a maximum concentration of 20 ppm.
The recommended materials for storage and han¬dling are glass, plastic, epoxy or rubber lined stainless steel equipment.
Handling
Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles. In case of contact immediately flush with plenty of water. After eye contact seek medical advice .In case of spillage, absorb with sand or other absor-bent materials and sweep up. Then flush the area with water. The product should be stored at a temperature between 5-25°C.

Storage and Handling
- Store in original containers.

- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
- Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers.

This product is available in a variety of packaging sizes such as pails, drums, bulk, and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC). Your Icbina representative will recommend the appropriate packaging for the application.
