Polyfloc A-15

Polyfloc A - 15 is highly effective as a coagulant aid for potable, raw water and industrial waste water clarification.
This polymer has also found wide usage in many industrial processes where rapid and complete liquid/ solids separation is desired. This highly versatile polymer is effective over a wide pH-range.

Properties

Polyfloc A - 15 is a high molecular weight medium anionic polyelectrolyte suited for use in many diversified areas.

Application

As coagulant aid, the recommended dosage of this polymer is normally in the range of 0.1 -10 ppm. The temperature and suspended solids content of the treated medium will have an effect on the dosage requirement. The product should be dissolved prior to use.
As much as a 0.5% stock solution can be prepared with cold water. Warm or hot water is not recommended for dissolving this product. High speed agitation is required for 30 minutes to insure adequate dis¬solution.
Dilute polymer solutions should be used within two (2) days. The recommended materials for storage and handling are plastic, glass, epoxy lined or stainless steel equipment.

Handling

Polyfloc A - 15 should be stored in a cool, dry place. Do not breathe dust. Wear a suitable dustmask. Wear suitable gloves and use dustproof goggles.
In case of spillage the floor may become slippery. Sprinkle with industrial floor absorbent or sawdust. Clean-up procedure: scoop up into a suitable container and wash remainder away with plenty of water (large quantities should not be flushed into the sewer. If the floor remains slippery, clean the area with an industrial detergent.

Storage and Handling

  • Store in original containers.
  • Keep containers securely sealed.
  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers.

This product is available in 25kg bags (30 to a pallet) or 750 kg Bulk Bags.
